Clive Standen reprises his voice role as Demetrius Titus, the video game’s protagonist, in Space Marine 2. The episode takes place after the events of the game. Reference: Film Junk Podcast: Episode 973: Carry-On (2024). The animation is beautiful, there’s no denying it. I struggle to get excited about such short episodes. They feel like an apprentice attempt. You can’t be completely engrossed, because you know it’s over before you can really connect with the characters. It was nice to see some celebrity contributions. Reeves and Arnie both give enjoyable roles. It’s just a little too experimental and deep for me. Also, if I had the chance to choose the source material. I think I would have chosen a completely different set of games to honor it. The Pacman episode is o.k. But it was a demonstration of taking artistic license to its absolute limits. It made me laugh at least. Overall, I found the whole series a bit humbling. 6 for the visuals.
