Plot under wraps. The third film in the 28 Days Later franchise. The sequel was originally going to be called 28 Months Later and continue with the film’s time-set theme. However, since so much time had passed since we last returned to this world in 2007 (28 Weeks Later), it was thought more appropriate to call the film 28 Years Later.
